Software Requirements
-The software requirements are description of features and functionalities of the target system. Requirements convey the expectations of users from the software product. The requirements can be obvious or hidden, known or unknown, expected or unexpected from client’s point of view.
Stakeholders
-Stakeholder, any individual, social group, or actor who
possesses an interest, a legal obligation, a moral right, or other concern in
the decisions or outcomes of an organization, typically a business firm,
corporation, or government. Stakeholders either affect or are affected by the
achievement of an organization’s objectives.
-The system context diagram (also known as a level 0 DFD) is
the highest level in a data flow diagram and contains only one process,
representing the entire system, which establishes the context and boundaries of
the system to be modeled. It identifies the flows of information between the
system and external entities (i.e. actors). A context diagram is typically
included in a requirements document. It must be read by all project
stakeholders and thus should be written in plain language, so the stakeholders
can understand items
-A Use Case Model describes the proposed functionality of a
new system. A Use Case represents a discrete unit of interaction between a user
(human or machine) and the system. This interaction is a single unit of
meaningful work, such as Create Account or View Account Details.
Business Model Canvas
-The business model canvas is a tool designers use to map out
a business or product’s key actors, activities and resources, the value
proposition for target customers, customer relationships, channels involved and
financial matters. It gives an overview to help identify requirements to
deliver the service and more.
